Historic

The Northeast has no end to structures of historical significance, from historic homes to repurposed mill buildings the region’s history is long and runs deep. We have a special love for historic structures and have a multitude of experience in this area. Our projects have included masonry, steel, and timber structures dating back as early as the 1600’s. There are always unique and interesting ideas for reuse and rehabilitation. Almost always these buildings require a very customized approach in order to meet both the modern building code and preserve the historic significance. We can provide creative solutions to meet both. 

Commercial

Over the years we have worked on many commercial projects, both on a small and large scale, Including but not limited to offices, retail, and light industrial spaces. Our services include structural design for new builds, remodels, and custom support for existing structures. We also provide calculations, measurements, and plans if needed.

Residential

Residential properties can be finicky and often require some level of customization. We provide a number of services related to residential homes, including follow ups on home inspections prior to sale, removing bearing walls or columns, damage repair, framing plans, and calculations. We work on any number of residential properties including new builds, additions, single family homes, multifamily homes, apartment buildings, and condominiums.

Foundations are the very first building block to any structure, they create the base of stability. Approaches to foundations vary based on a structure’s intention, soil, and erosion patterns. We will work with you to create effective, economic solutions to ensure the integrity of foundations of any kind. We frequently work on typical residential foundations, deep custom foundations for larger structures, helical anchors, matt foundations, footings for sculptures, and other solutions, working and coordinating with specialists, when needed.

Modular structures have grown in popularity in recent years, with technology advances they have become an economic solution to a variety of different structural projects. Supporting modular construction is one of our specialties. From recertification to custom design we will support all of your modular needs.
